 Stephani Knutson - I live in Duvall, WA and I like to draw and digitize embroidery designs. Art and hand crafts have always been a big part of my life, but I didn't consider a career in that area until after I had pursued career in Zookeeping and animal health for many years. I found myself drawn back into more creative endeavors. While I still enjoy working part-time as a veterinary assistant for an exotics-only clinic, the rest of my time is devoted to being a mom, and an artist. I started Wildlyfe Images & Fantasy Art toward that end a few years ago, but found I wanted to combine my interest in drawing with my interests in sewing and quilting. Thus was Once Upon A Stitch born. My pen and ink drawings are very detailed, and my need for detail has found it's way into many of my digitizing endeavors. I am sure you will notice as you check out my designs, that there are a number of "realistic" designs, especially of parrots. It seems that the last 16 years of working with wildlife, exotic pets and these beautiful birds has left its mark on me. Each of these designs takes many many hours to complete, but I find such joy in the final design that it is well worth the work.
