About the Moluccan Cockatoo
Also known as the Salmon-crested Cockatoo, this gentle bird is native to the Moluccas (Maluku) islands of Indoneasia. It is considered the largest of the white cockatoo, but it is acutally a soft peach color, with a dark salmon colored crest. Males and females can be told apart by the color of their eyes - males have black eyes, and females have brown eyes.
