About the Severe Macaw.
The Severe Macaw, also known as the Chestnut-Fronted Macaw and Brazilian Green Macaw, is natively found in the southern part of Central American down into the nothern parts of South America. It is the largest of the "mini" macaws at about 18-22" head to tail. As with the other "mini" macaws, they have a huge personality to make up for their size. These birds are very good talkers, and can live 30-40 years.
